This publication prescribes the policy and procedures for the cleaning, preservation, packaging, packing, maintenance, storage, and surveillance of medical material placed in storage at active, semiactive and inactive Army installations. It provides information and guidance for personnel on the fundamental principles and approved methods and techniques used in the protection of medical supplies and equipment against deterioration and damage during storage.
