Embarkatlon Army post offices coordinate the handling of mail for all Army personnel moving into and out of staging areas; effect prompt delivery of mall to such personnel in the staging areas; dispatch mail to overseas theaters and commands; maintain a locator card file showing location of units, and addresses of individuals not moving as members of units, who embark for overseas stations and who return therefrom; and furnish appropriate directory service for insufficiently and incorrectly addressed mail.
