Area Dental Laboratory Prosthodontic Service — TB MED 148

The U.S. Army area dental laboratory (USAADL) performs professional prosthodontic and dental laboratory support for oral health activities of the uniformed services as directed by Headquarters, U.S. Army Health Services Command. Support includes professional guidance, consultations and diagnostic services; dental laboratory services and fabrication of prostheses for restoration and replacement of lost tissue; specialized training and education programs; publications of informational and instructional material for professional and technical personnel; support and conduct of applied research; and development testing and evaluation of doctrine, techniques, equipment, and other materials.
